Welcome to 2016!! May it be an amazing year of dancing for you!

My resolution is to continue to build a fun, energetic, healthy and positive Victoria dance community. I know, it's the same resolution I make every year, but I feel community is important. I hope you will be a big part of the community this year and that you will encourage your friends and family to join us as well.

It is my 30th Anniversary of teaching dance in Victoria and I plan to host fun events all year long. I look forward to seeing you celebrate often with us.

To start the year off I have invited guest instructors to teach at Swing City this week and next week. We have big parties planned with Sam Jackson teaching West Coast Swing this Friday at 8pm. I will be the DJ at the Swing dance that follows with a mix of Latin, Hustle and Slow Dancing thrown in.

The following Friday Warren Scott and Tara McMillan will have you playing with your Rumba before I run the music for the Ballroom dance at 9pm. Get your friends together and join us for some fun on the dance floor. Let me know if you have a group of 6 or more and I will reserve a table for you.

Classes commence this week – keep that first major resolution and get on the dance floor early and often. Check out the selection of classes. Note the new pricing for Wednesday and Sunday classes.

Please note that the Club Revue Ballroom dance originally slated for Saturday, January 23rd had to be moved to January 30th. Please mark your calendar and plan to join us.

My 30th Anniversary dance cruises to Europe and the Caribbean were locked in at the Canadian Dollar price last year - so these cruises are looking even better now - book soon if you want a great price on a dance cruise before the cruise line decides to change the great deal we have. Email me at dancevictoria@telus.net for more information.
