Dances & Funnies: March 21-26
"I don't know, but I've been told, if you keep on dancing, you'll never grow old" Steve Miller Band
Celebrate Spring with the U.Vic Dance Club this Friday at their end of term Semi-Formal Dance. You'll never grow old dancing with this lively group. Get your advance tickets from me this week.
Swing City is Cancelled this Friday so that we can celebrate with U.Vic.
Classes for March are listed on the Lessons Page.
Island Fantasy Ball tickets for Victoria tables are still available. This huge competition (fun to watch or participate in) is held in Nanaimo in May. Join us at the Victoria tables & save money (no sales outlet fees). I have an extension on selling these tickets until the end of March. I have almost sold all of the tables allotted to me so contact me soon. See the video below to get a view of some of the top dancers at the event.
We are saddened by the sudden passing of Ernie Jarman - long time member of the dance community - from cancer on March 16th. He will be missed by many in the music, and dance communities. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife, Vilma, and family. A celebration of his life will be held later this year.
