Socrates learned to dance when he was seventy because he felt that an essential part of himself had been neglected. ~Source Unknown

Do not neglect any of your essential parts - dance for your mind, your body and your soul. I will host the second of my 30th Anniversary Social dances featuring Ron King on Saturday, April 30th at the Edelweiss Club. Tickets are $15 in advance - reserve your tickets at starting April 1st.

I will teach Tango in the workshop on April Fools Day - Friday, April 1st at Swing City at 8pm (if we are going to be fools we may as well be dancing fools) - a social Ballroom, Latin & Swing dance follows from 9 to 11pm. This is a fun dance - we hope to see you there.

New classes for March and April are listed on the Lessons page. Most start this week - register soon, register often - Socrates would be proud of you. Sorry - despite repeated requests from the Easter crowd there will not be any Bunny Hop classes.

Happy Birthday to 17 dancers who celebrate birthdays in April - you get a free ticket to Swing City this month. Happy Birthday to: Laurie B, Joseph M, Joan S, Robin E, Don S, Pennie S, Kate H, Holly M, Owen W, Carla M, Pat A, Linda P, Theo S, Margaret G, Cheryl T, Cathy S and Ella Y.

Can you billet dancers from up island who may be coming to Victoria for the Pacifica Ball? Make new dance friends and then have a place to stay if you go up to the Island Fantasy Ball or various NBDS summer dance camps. Email me to let me know if you have room in your house for more dancers -
