1) The Island Fantasy Ball (IFB): Saturday, May 5th and Sunday May 6th in the Beban Park Social Centre, Nanaimo. This full weekend competition features dancers from around the world competing in Ballroom and Latin. Competitions are held all day and evening on Saturday and all day on Sunday. 2) Commodores Big Band Dance - 8 to 11pm on Saturday, May 26th at the Victoria Edelweiss Club. Get your group of 8 together and book a table early so that you can all sit together. Tickets are $25 in advance from John at email@example.com or 250-920-7556.
3) Island Dance Camp: Friday, June 15th, to Sunday, June 17th - the focus will be on social dancing: West Coast Swing, Nite Club 2-Step, Country 2-Step & Waltz! 2 fun dances; 4 instructors; 19 fabulous workshops; breakfast, lunch & dinner on Saturday; Camping onsite …. Door prizes and so much more!! Held at the Lighthouse Community Hall in Qualicum Bay. Cost: early bird $120 – after May 1st $140.
