There was a star danced, and under that was I born. ~ William Shakespeare (1564 – 1616), Much Ado About Nothing

It is time to celebrate the end of one marvellous year and the start of another with "much ado about something" at the stroke of midnight. Wishing you all the best in 2017 both on and off the dance floor.

If you like 'formal' then here is a ball you might like to attend: "The Tsar's Ball" held in St Petersburg, Russia at St Catherine's Palace (we danced through here on our summer cruise). We need a ballroom like this one in Victoria:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v63dodey2zw&list=RDCjuQ0RRrrWo&index=2

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I resolve to...
I need to start eating more healthy, but first I need to eat all of the junk food in the house to make sure that it's not there to tempt me anymore.
An optimist stays up until midnight to see the new year in. A pessimist stays up to make sure the old year leaves.
Bill Vaughn
My resolutions are:
1. Stop making lists
B. Be more consistent.
7. Learn to count.
I'm gonna lose weight. I'm going to exercise every day. I'm gonna go on a diet and stick to it...
Is that cake?
Many years ago I resolved never to bother with New Year's resolutions and I've stuck with it ever since.
Dave Beard
I'm opening a bar called "Resolutions".  It will have exercise equipment in it for the first 2 weeks and then turn into a bar for the rest of the year.
Making resolutions is a cleansing ritual of self assessment and repentance that requires personal honesty and, ultimately, reinforces humility. Breaking them is part of the cycle.
Eric Zorn
I resolve to improve my mind, my body and my soul for 2017. All I have to do is dance as often as possible.
I hope you always find a reason to smile.
Happy New Year!!
